Everyone is welcome to worship and to be a part of the congregational life of Chambers, whether you are you are young or old, rich or poor, sure of your faith or searching for a way toward God. Membership is a step of deeper commitment, as you confess your faith in Jesus Christ and a desire to connect more closely with this congregation.

Membership classes are offered once or twice a year.  The classes usually meet after worship. In a total of four hours of instructional time, they cover such topics as “What does it mean to be a Christian?” “What does it mean to be a Presbyterian?” and “What does it mean to be a member of Chambers?”  At the end of each membership class, participants make a decision about whether they desire to make the commitment to Jesus Christ and to this church.

The major difference between members and non-members is that members participate in the governance of the church and can vote in congregational meetings.

If you are interested in becoming a member, please talk to the pastor.
