Chambers Memorial Presbyterian Church welcomes a new leader in ministry.  With the approval of the Presbytery of Philadelphia and the Session of Chambers, Elder Sharon Parker was named as Director of Ministry, effective June 1, 2026.  As Director of Ministry, she will provide worship leadership, pastoral care, and educational ministry for the historic “Church at Rutledge.”  In accepting this call to ministry, Sharon Parker is returning to the community that she loved and served for 27 years as a teacher, middle school principal, and Superintendent of Schools in the Wallingford-Swarthmore School District.

We invite you to join in attending worship with us. All are welcome. We are a warm, welcoming faithful community of believers, who rejoice in worshiping as one in the Spirit. The people will gather! The word will be read and preached! God will be praised!

We will leave the sanctuary by the same door as we entered but we will not leave as we came in. We will leave as a people filled with God’s Word and refreshed by the act of worship, ready to share the precious name of Jesus to a world hungry and thirsty for the good news of salvation.
